Veterans Day Coffee Drop-In

You raised your hand. This cup's for you.

So many Veterans Day events lean on veterans to plan them, set them up and run them. This one asks nothing of you. No speeches, no program. Just good coffee, a bite of pastry and a warm welcome.

• Where: Parlor Doughnuts • 5400 S. Pinnacle Hills Parkway, Rogers
• Who: Veterans, service members and the families who stood beside them

Veterans Day sometimes asks a lot of the very people it honors: organizing the details, setting up the chairs, planning the event. This morning has nothing to plan and nothing to bring. Drop in for five minutes or stay for the whole two hours.

If you've served, or if someone in your family has, come by. Bring a story if you'd like to share one... or just come sit, sip and be appreciated.
